Little witch monoprints from my last monoprint workshop.  The one on the left is the ghost print, a print made from the residual ink left on the plate.  These are two plate monoprints, the black was printed first and then the yellow eyes of the cat and red cheeks were added using a second plate.

Ashleigh Scheiszer brought by the samples for the bookbinding class.  Look at all these gorgeous books you can learn to make!  I’m really excited for this workshop.

Joseph Vorgity teaching the Whiteline Woodcut workshop.  Whiteline is an American invention, and an offshoot of traditional Japanese mokuhanga.  Whiteline woodcut is done entirely by hand, using watercolors for inks, and a spoon for the press.

I have these all over the shop, and constantly repeat “Red for rollers!” to people, like the printshop ceremonial chant.

I just posted a few little skull monoprints up on my etsy.  I make these little guys while teaching printing techniques to my students, in this case, it’s reductive inking and reworking the ghost.
